Higher Education Needs to INNOVATE

The Michigan Economy is terrible. People are losing their jobs and money is tight. When this is true, why does the tuition for higher education continue to increase. Obviously a lot of places are state funded and their budgets are cut. This makes sense. However, when times get tough, people are supposed to work harder. When is the last time any student got “better” service when their tuition increased? Do your professors help you more now? Does that woman behind the desk who acts like she’s having the worst day of her life everyday finally smile at you?

We need a new system. We need to be able to take a class at Michigan State, UCLA, Penn State at all the same time. We need new curriculum’s that actually teach what the real world requires, not what some over educated person with no real world experience read out of a book.

I am starting this blog to talk about the trials and tribulations of a young entrepreneur. I want this to be a blog to connect young entrepreneurs to discuss ideas etc. Most importantly I want this to be a blog for people who are like minded to actually get things done.
